National Walk Day: Your Outdoor Workout, Leveled Up
Let’s be real—walking is great for your mind, body and soul. But if you want, you can always take your walk up a notch. At Athara, we’re about feeling fierce, moving boldly, and taking ordinary moments (like your daily walk) and turning them into full-on boss energy.
So when National Walk Day rolls around on April 24, we’re not just strolling. We’re owning the sidewalk, bench, park trail, and whatever else the outdoors has to offer.
Here’s how to take your walk from basic to beast mode with an outdoor-friendly, full-body circuit workout. No gym. No equipment. No excuses.
Your National Walk Day Circuit
Perform each move for 3 rounds. Walk for 2 minutes in between each exercise to keep it moving and soak in those spring vibes.
🌳 Walking Lunges — 20 steps total
Your legs will be burning—in a good way. Keep your core tight and your front knee over your ankle, not your toes. Bonus points if you're rocking your Athara MaxSculpt™ leggings for max mobility.
🌳 Push-Ups — 10-15 reps
(modify on a park bench if needed)
Upper body strength + core engagement = chef’s kiss. Keep your body in one long line and resist the temptation to do the ol' head dip.
🌳 Step-Ups (on a bench or ledge) — 10 each leg
This one’s about power and balance. Drive through your heel and don’t forget to switch legs. Want to make it spicier? Add a knee drive at the top.
🌳 Plank Hold — 30-60 seconds
Solid, steady, and sneaky-hard. Keep your hips in line with your shoulders and squeeze every muscle. It’s giving "total body power."
🌳 Glute Bridges (on the ground or bench) — 15-20 reps
This move targets your posterior chain and reminds your glutes who’s boss. Squeeze at the top and don’t rush it. You’re sculpting, not surviving.
How to Make It Yours
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. Repeat the full circuit 2–3 times depending on how fierce you’re feeling.
Want to turn it into a walk-run combo? Add a 30-second jog after each round. Want to bring a friend?
Great—tag us in your sweat selfie. @iloveathara
Final Lap: Walk, Werk, Repeat
Celebrate National Walk Day by making the most of what your body (and the outdoors) can do.
This isn’t about perfection—it’s about power. So lace up, show up, and slay the sidewalk.
And yeah, walking still counts. But adding this circuit? That’s what we call next-level.
